A Phoenix, AZ-based promotions company, Forward Thinking Productions, LLC,(FTP) is in need of a total investment of $242,000.
FTP is hoping to organize/promote a two-day, festival-type concert event on the weekend of October 16-17, 2010 at the Mesa Amphitheatre, Mesa, AZ. The event will be held to raise money and awareness for families in Arizona living with Huntington's Disease(HD), and similar neurological diseases. HD is a hereditary, neuro-degenerative disorder which has been likened to a combination of Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, and Schizophrenia, with an average disease onset around forty(40) years of age, typically resulting in death within 10-15 years.
The total event budget hovers just under $400k, with expected sponsorship contributions in the vicinity of $150k. Ticket sales are expected to meet and/or exceed the total operating expense.
