OUR PROPOSAL TO “Possible Investor/Business Angel/Partner”
Orbit Wood & Shavings is a young dynamic company, formed and founded by entrepreneur Andries Fourie whom saw the opportunity and researched the market gap in the Shavings Industry. This led to the creation of “Orbit Wood & Shavings” in 2009. The company has grown since and the entrepreneur invested his time, dedication and cash to get the entity to where it is today. The knowledge and experienced gained were priceless and is paying off…
Orbit Wood & Shavings do however have the opportunity for an Investor or another Company to go into partnership or a joint venture agreement.
The reason for this opportunity is as follows:
- “Orbit Wood & Shavings” is experiencing growth and can’t expand further with the current financial resources.
- Our machine has reached maximum production capacity and we require additional machines as well as a bagging and possibly a “kiln dry” machine.
- We have sourced deals with potential clients but we can’t supply their demand and needs with the current resources we have available. So we first need to get these in place and then “they” (potential customers) will commit their business to us.
- The market gap in South Africa is phenomenal and customers are seeking trust worthy suppliers whom can provide and supply on a constant basis to satisfy their needs.
- Competition is minimal and there are only a hand full of “Pine Wood Shaving” manufacturers in the market locally who can’t supply the current demand of pine wood shavings to the end user.
We are willing to provide the following to the possible Investor, Joint Venture Company or Shareholder:
- The market (research, customers), potential clients, possible contracts and possible tenders that would increase sales and turnover.
- A manufacturing plant where the existing machine is standing together with the machinery, office facilities, trained staff etc.
- Existing suppliers of the raw products in order to manufacture pine wood shavings e.g. pine wood loggers (we have sourced pine wood logs at the best possible price together with volumes which will keep us going for years and years to come).
- Management – We will “run the show” as normal since we have trained staff and strong management whom are checking, managing, ordering, arranging transport and deliveries, problem solving and doing the marketing of the product.
- Existing contacts like blade sharpeners, engineers should anything go wrong, basically any possible thing that might break or go wrong, we have the contact to immediately respond, fix the problem and minimize downtime.
- ROI (“Return On Investment”) – A possible return as a percentage might be discussed over a fixed term e.g. three years plus the repayment of the capital sum.
- Shares in the Company – Should you rather decide to become a shareholder, we are open for it as well. This means that you will share in the dividends earned by the company and also act as a “Director”. It’s up to you whether you would like to become actively involved in the business or rather stay a “silent partner”. We don’t have a problem with this since we believe in our product, the market and our future growth. Your input would be seen as a shareholders loan against the company.
- We are also willing to discuss a possible exit strategy should you decide to only invest for a certain term as a shareholder and we may determine a projected estimated exit amount.
- A full Business Plan, this includes projected financials (cash flow, income statement, balance sheet etc.), market research, our future plan, the company, everything you need to know about the industry, finance etc.
We believe in the opportunity that exists as well as in ourselves.
We know what the potential is and where we can go with this in the future. Therefore we decided to approach you in order to discuss a possible venture with you or your company.
