Description:
We are looking for start-up funds for a Manufacturing / Retailing business in the Custom Jewelry Business. I have years of experience in running retail outlets as well as the design and creativity needed to produce and market my own line of custom made Jewelry. I am seeking funding to start up my home-based business and I need to purchase several pieces of machinery to get the business started.
Purchasing the equipment will facilitate the production of molds and casts for material investment and will streamline a previously tedious and time consuming process. By hand, it would take weeks to develop a viable hard-wax mold that was perfect for casting, but by using these state of the art machines, I can lower my molding time down to twenty minutes.
I am requesting $70,000 for machinery, licenses and basic training. The Jewelry Industry is rarely affected by the fluctuating economy, nearly everyone purchases jewelry and to that end, we will offer not only our own line of jewelry but custom pieces as well. The business will reach the Global Market with a dynamic “Design your own piece” website that I am developing, which will allow me to upload artist renderings and 3d CAD/CAM designs for the client to see before they purchase.
The projected Return on Investment shows that if we sell just one piece every month, we can return the capital invested in as little as 35 months. It is a viable and profitable business that only needs the proper investment to grow into a considerable marketplace competitor.
