Description:
I have created a new concept for the high speed rail system currently being planned in Florida. Currently the rail system is estimated to cost 2.5 billion dollars for 90 miles. This is due to many issues that are easily fixable. My concept comes down to the idea of "1 million per mile". By using new designs, materials, forms of land usage, energy sources, and revenue plans it can become one of the first viable passenger rail systems in the United States in years. The goal is to make high speed rail in not only affordable, but a new way to move America forward into the future.
